What it basically comes down to is I have feelings for you. And I know this screws everything up. And I know that this is totally unfair to you, but there’s nothing I can do about it. I feel so guilty because you don’t deserve to have this put on you, and you don’t deserve to have been lied to. But believe me, it hurts me, too.
I have been battling this for a while, trying to make the feelings go away, etc, but it’s just going to take some time. I really really try to meet other guys, etc, but it just hasn’t been the same, yet.
You have never been anything but nice and supportive to me, so basically I just need to know what you want me to do. If you want me to break all contact with you, I’ll do it. If you want something different, I’ll do it. All I know is I really value our friendship, and I wish there was some way to keep that intact, but if you don’t think there is, just say the word.
